When you visit a website, the wow factor of color and design is only a 20% facade that you see. The other 80% is the back end; then endless lines of code that makes a beautiful website function beautifully. Good planning translates to easy execution, which is the work you’re paying the web developer to do. More planning on your part means less work (and re-work and re-work) on my part. More importantly, good planning means you will end up with a website that truly reflects your business identity, gets your message across, and engages your viewers in a compelling, effective format. This Spec Sheet will walk you through a thought process to plan for your website.

I know, it’s hard to know what you want to spend if you have no idea what websites cost. Well here’s a little trick to at least help you determine what you don’t want to spend: Start with $2000. Do a gut check. Are you comfortable with that number? If so, raise the number by $1000 increments until you get to the point of, “Nope, not comfortable… definitely don’t want to spend that.” Keep in mind that this number is not used to determine my fee. It’s used to determine if all the items from your wish list above are doable given the budget you have to work with. Your budget amount:
